Biography

Samantha Lourie is an inspiration to hundreds of thousands of women via her social media accounts, in particular facebook but also instagram. With an English degree from King’s London and a teaching and film industry background she now describes herself as a ‘free-spirit poet/writer mama’. She has been running journaling workshops and online self-love/self-healing courses since 2016, developing an approach that seeks to make the difficult areas of life more approachable. She lives with her childhood sweetheart and three daughters in London.

She is curious about the human condition. She uses her work to facilitate emotional integration and self-healing but from the point of intrigue and deference rather than academic qualification. Professional therapists do her courses, use her words and direct their clients to her work.

She is very active on Facebook and Instagram, posting inspiration at least once a day. She has a gentle, artistic, poetic style particularly appealing to women. Every 6 months she runs popular online 30 day ‘soul reset’ workshops.

Books

Samantha Lourie’s first book THE POWER OF MESS was published by Yellow Kite in June 2023.

Praise for The Power of Mess:

'“I have been so moved by the courage in this book. Sam Lourie shows that even in the darkest times, it is possible to face the mess, and rise up through it. This is the book for our era. And if we follow her gentle pointers we will move into a better future, for ourselves, each other and for the environment at large.”

- Lou Hamilton, host of the Brave New Girl podcast.
