Biography

Vex King is the author of four Sunday Times bestselling titles: GOOD VIBES, GOOD LIFE, HEALING IS THE NEW HIGH, CLOSER TO LOVE, and THINGS NO ONE TAUGHT US ABOUT LOVE. His books have been translated into 40 languages.

In 2024, GOOD VIBES GOOD LIFE was listed at number 18 on The Sunday Times top 100 books of the past 50 years, having spent 132 weeks in the bestseller list.

Vex King is a thought leader and spiritual teacher who came to fame on Instagram and is now much in demand as a writer and speaker. He had a difficult childhood but did well at school, then went on to take a degree in Business Information Systems. After working as a Systems Analyst, he moved into music production where he worked with stars including Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32 and Big Narstie. His work brought him into contact with people who started asking him for life advice, including major sporting stars, and he gradually built up a life coaching/mind coaching business.

This prompted him to go online to share his ideas with the world and he was astonished by the response. He is now leading a revolution for the next generation of spiritual seekers.

Books

The two million copy international mega seller GOOD VIBES GOOD LIFE has established itself as a classic in its genre. First published in December 2018 the book spent 132 weeks on the UK paperback non-fiction bestseller list, and was in the top 10 overall bestsellers for 2021. It came in at #18 on The Sunday Times top 100 books of the past 50 years.

His second book, HEALING IS THE NEW HIGH, achieved #1 bestseller status in its first week of publication, since then it spent many weeks in the top 20 overall UK bestsellers. CLOSER TO LOVE was released in 2023 by Bluebird/Pan Macmillan in the UK and HarperOne in the US. It debuted at #2 on the Sunday Times list. In April 2024, the paperback version was released as THINGS NO ONE TAUGHT US ABOUT LOVE. It is a careful distillation of the profound insights from Closer to Love, reworked and presented in the easy-to-read style of Good Vibes, Good, Life. The book spent several weeks in the Sunday Times list.
