Biography
Ed Haddon is the founder of Haddon Coaching, heading up a team of coaches who specialise in working with founders and their senior teams building business with purpose and positive impact at the core of what they do. They also work with those looking to transition and take a more entrepreneurial approach to life. Haddon Coaching is the first coaching business in the UK to be B-Corp certified.
After a stint as an elite athlete representing Great Britain in rowing, he spent the first 15 years of his career working with increasingly small companies. From the senior team at Asda via Anita Roddick at the Body Shop, he discovered a natural affinity with corporate rebels, and has spent his life questioning and selectively rejecting societal definitions of success.
Ed holds a Masters in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University and a Masters in Business Administration (distinction) from Harvard Business School. Along with his coaching and NLP qualifications, he is also trained in Positive Psychology Vision Days. He has written for publications including The Times and the Soho House Magazine and writes a monthly blog. He has featured in Vanity Fair, Grow (The Facebook magazine) and Smallish magazine, and has been asked to speak at Google, Soho House and other events. Ed is also a founder of the Realisation Festival - creating space and time for the soul for the benefit of society.
Books
His first book, THE MODERN MAVERICK: Why writing your own rules is better for you, your business and the world, was published by Bloomsbury in April 2023. It was named one of The Financial Times Business Books of the month for April.
